Colt Lohmeier

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member Colt Lohmeier has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor.

Lohmeier started flying in 2021 at Southern Utah University. Upon completing his initial CFI certification, Lohmeier moved to Las Vegas and began working as a flight instructor at Chennault Flying Service at the North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT). During his time in Las Vegas, Lohmeier earned his CFII and MEI certifications, worked as a Part 141 check instructor, and qualified as an FAA Gold Seal flight instructor. In August 2024, Lohmeier moved to Kansas to serve as an assistant chief flight instructor and flight team coach at Kansas State University.
