As of 2025, new flight schools must intend to enroll at least 5 instructors or staff members. This can include yourself.
You may still apply. You would effectively be reserving a few spots for your business’s future use. Note: You would still be required to meet the minimum cost of the program: $225/year.
These newly-created Flight School Connection profiles will be the property of your flight school, and will not override any current NAFI Memberships.
Yes. The spots belong to your flight school, and can be reassigned to any employees you choose.
Effectively, yes. Each account we create has a unique Member number. If you wish to reassign one of your spots, we will put a temporary pause on that particular Member number and remove it from your Flight School Connection account. We will then create a new profile for your new instructor, complete with its own unique Member number.
If the previously enrolled instructor wishes to remain a NAFI Member, they will have the option to do so at our current Membership rate. They would need to supply their own billing information.
