Dustin Kurath

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member Dustin Kurath has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor.

Kurath is the chief instructor and owner of Blue Sky Aviation in Menominee, Michigan. In addition to providing local flight instruction, Kurath specializes in Mooney, Beechcraft, and Piper training and transitions throughout the Upper Midwest. He has been instructing since 2022 and has accrued more than 3,500 hours of flight time in 24 different aircraft types. Kurath is an FAA Safety Team lead representative and an officer with EAA Chapter 1672. When not flying, Kurath serves as a technical sales manager in the chemical industry.
