John ‘Mike’ Hardin
The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member John ‘Mike’ Hardin has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor. This is Hardin’s fourth NAFI Master Flight Instructor accreditation.
Hardin grew up at Terrell Municipal Airport in Texas and first flew with his father at age six. He began flight training at 13 and earned his instrument, commercial, and CFI certificates in 2008 while working at his family’s FBO, Terrell Aviation. He later added MEI, CFII, A&P with inspection authorization, and Gold Seal instructor credentials. In 2011, he founded Mike’s Flying Service, specializing in accelerated multi-engine training.
Hardin has logged more than 15,000 hours, including 9,600 hours of dual instruction, and has flown more than 90 aircraft types. He also ferries aircraft, conducts contract flying, and serves as a regional Ercoupe Owners Club director.
