Rachel Kim

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member Rachel Kim has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor. 

Kim is a designated Master CFI, Gold Seal flight instructor, and dedicated advocate for aviation safety. As manager of CFI standards at Hillsboro Aero Academy, she leads instructor training and ongoing evaluation while developing standardized operating procedures and training materials for a leading commercial pilot training program.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science and flight operations, and her expertise centers on connecting foundational airmanship with the procedural discipline expected by major airlines. Passionate about continuing education and proactive risk management, Kim is committed to strengthening safety culture throughout the aviation community.
