Alexander Sharaf

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member
Alexander Sharaf has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor.

Sharaf is from Los Angeles and began flying in 2018. He is a Gold Seal CFI, CFII, and
MEI. In 2020 he joined the 8Ball Flying Club, which contributed to his advancement as an
aviator. He served as secretary and then president of 8Ball.

Sharaf primarily instructs private owners in airplanes ranging from a Cessna 150 to a
Piaggio Avanti and volunteers as an FAA Safety Team representative. He also volunteers with the Condor Squadron.

Sharaf occasionally flies internationally in Southeast Asia with Vision Flight. He enjoys
teaching avionics, covering nearly all units from Garmin, Avidyne, and Aspen.
