Sam Lindsay

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member Sam Lindsay has earned accreditation as a NAFI Associate Master Flight Instructor.

Lindsay is an independent flight instructor located in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. He is an Air Force veteran and former first officer for Continental Airlines. In addition to local flight instruction, Lindsay specializes in Mooney and Van’s Aircraft training and transitions throughout North America. He has been instructing since 2001 and has accrued 6,100 hours of flight time in his 30-year career. Lindsay is an FAA Safety Team representative, and when not flying, is an active astronomer and amateur radio extra class examiner.
