Grayson J. Bertaina

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member Grayson J. Bertaina has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor.

Bertaina is a professional pilot, Gold Seal flight instructor, and lifelong aviation enthusiast. Originally from Florida, he studied aerospace engineering at MIT, where he was active in Air Force ROTC and the MIT Flying Club. After graduating, he was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force Reserve and selected for Undergraduate Pilot Training. Through his company, FlyHdg360 LLC, Bertaina flies the Cirrus Vision Jet and SR-series aircraft while continuing to instruct and mentor new aviators. He has experience in the King Air and Piper Navajo and holds an ATP with an A-320 type rating. Beyond professional flying, he is passionate about tailwheel and aerobatic instruction.
