Jon Wizard

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member Jon Wizard has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor.

Following two decades of work in the public sector, Wizard decided to pursue a new career in aviation. After completing primary training in Sacramento and Phoenix, he earned his CFI ratings in Minnesota. Wizard then returned home to the Monterey Bay region where he instructed in the Diamond DA-40, Piper Cherokee and Arrow, Cessna 150 and 172, Vashon Ranger LSA, Cirrus SR20 and SR22, and Beechcraft Duchess. Wizard now splits his time between instructing part-time in a Beechcraft Sundowner and flying the Beechcraft 99 and 1900 for a cargo airline.
