Joseph Bertapelle

The National Association of Flight Instructors is proud to announce that NAFI member
Joseph Bertapelle has earned accreditation as a NAFI Master Flight Instructor. This is
Bertapelle’s third NAFI Master Flight Instructor accreditation.

Bertapelle has been teaching for almost two decades and loves every day of it. In 2020,
he bought the school where he worked. Bertapelle has acquired twin engine, tailwheel, and aerobatic aircraft since establishing his flight school, JoeBravo Aviation. He continues to maintain a diverse fleet to ensure students may experience different planes and develop the skills to fly them. He has enjoyed the experience of training two ATP candidates.

Bertapelle volunteers with the Kansas Pilots Association, Civil Air Patrol, and EAA to
help interest in aviation continue to grow in Wichita, Kansas. He is dedicated to expanding his skill set with each passing year.
